For parents: adding a sibling to your family
How to enroll a second child without setting up a new account.
Updated June 4, 2026
If one of your kids is already a member and you want to enroll a sibling, you do not start over with a new account. Instead, add the sibling to your existing household.
Two paths
There are two ways to add a sibling, depending on how your school is set up:
- Self-serve through the portal. Some schools let parents enroll new children directly. The portal has an Add a child button.
- Through the school. Other schools want you to enroll in person or through their public signup form, with the school's team handling the household linking.
Check your portal first. If you see Add a child or Enroll another student, you can self-serve.
Self-serve flow
- Sign in to your parent portal.
- Tap Add a child (or similar wording).
- Enter the sibling's name and birthday.
- Pick a program for them (the available programs are filtered to those that match their age).
- Pick a class.
- Confirm.
Their first tuition charge runs (often pro-rated if you are in the middle of a month), and the sibling is added to your account.
Through the school
If self-serve is not available:
- Tell the school you want to enroll your other child.
- They will collect the same info (name, birthday, program, class).
- They add the child to your household manually.
- You see the new child appear in your portal within a few minutes.
How siblings appear
Once the sibling is added, your dashboard's top dropdown shows both names. Switch between them to see each child's schedule, attendance, and progress.
Tuition for both children is combined on one invoice. Your card on file is charged once for the total.
Family discounts
If your school offers a sibling discount, it is applied automatically. Your invoice shows the discount as a line item so you can see how much you are saving.
The discount continues for as long as both kids are enrolled. If one sibling stops attending, the discount drops off the next billing cycle.
Both parents on the same account
If your spouse also wants to see the dashboard, you can add them as a co-guardian:
- Go to Account → Guardians.
- Tap Add guardian.
- Enter their name and email.
- They get an invite and set their own password.
Both of you see the same kids in your portal. Either of you can be the primary contact for the school.
Splitting kids across guardians
If you and a co-parent want to split your kids (one kid under each parent's account), this is possible but requires the school to set it up. Most schools recommend keeping all kids on one household for simpler billing.
Removing a child
If a child stops attending, do not delete them from your account. The school marks the child's membership as canceled or paused. Their record stays in your account so you keep their attendance history and rank progression.
If you ever want them to start again, the school can reactivate. No re-enrollment needed.
