Set up the check-in kiosk

Turn a tablet into a self-serve sign-in station that works even offline.

!Set up the check-in kiosk

Go to Admin → Settings → Kiosk devices and pair a tablet. The kiosk runs at your front desk without a staff login, so students (or parents) can check themselves in.

  • Give each device a label; revoke it any time.
  • Multi-site schools can filter the kiosk to a single location.
  • If the wifi drops, the kiosk queues check-ins and syncs them once it reconnects — so nothing is lost.

Keep the tablet on the kiosk URL; it stays locked to check-in only.
