Leaving Kicksite
Move from Kicksite to QuickKicks in a weekend.
Kicksite has served martial arts schools for over a decade, but a lot of owners have outgrown how it handles belt eligibility, leads, and instructor workflow. We move your members, memberships, ranks, and payment history for free, and you keep Kicksite running until you're ready to switch off.
Why schools leave Kicksite
The patterns we hear from Kicksite switchers
Every switch is its own story, but these come up enough that they're worth naming. If any of them sound like your Kicksite setup, we've seen it before.
- Belt eligibility is a manual status field, not calculated from attendance and skills, so promotions still depend on staff memory.
- Lead pipeline is thin. Trial follow-up lives in a separate tool or a staff member's head, and conversions leak.
- Instructor workflow on a phone or tablet feels grafted on, not designed in. Roll-call and skill sign-off take longer than they should.
- Reporting answers the basics but not the questions you ask weekly: who's at risk, who's ready for the next belt, where the trial funnel is leaking.
- Pricing is per-student, not per-location, so growth costs you per head instead of per site.
What comes across
Your school, recognizable on day one
We bring over the things that make your school yours, regardless of which Kicksite fields they live in today.
Members and families
Every student and guardian, linked into family accounts, with contact details and notes intact.
Memberships and plans
Your membership types, prices, and billing cycles, recreated so your roster bills the way it did before.
Belt and rank history
Current rank and promotion history come across, so nobody restarts their journey on day one.
Payment history
Past invoices and payment records, so your reporting and a member's history don't begin from a blank slate.
Attendance history
Where your current software can export it, attendance history comes too. We confirm what's includable during prep.
Waivers and documents
Signed waivers and documents transfer where they're exportable. Anything that can't, we help you re-collect.
Getting the export from Kicksite
The exact steps for Kicksite
You don't have to figure out where Kicksite's export lives. Here's the path; we do the rest.
- 1
Pull your member export
Settings, then Data, then Export. Pick All Members. You'll get a CSV with contact details, account links, and basic membership info.
- 2
Pull your billing report
Reports, then Financial, then a full date range. Export the payment history CSV. We'll line it up with each member's account.
- 3
Send us both files
Email them to us. If your ranks aren't in the exports, send a screenshot of your belt ladder. We do everything else from there.
Kicksite-specific gotchas
The things we watch for on every switch
These don't break the migration. They just need a heads-up so nobody's surprised.
Belt history depth varies by account
Older Kicksite accounts sometimes only store current rank, not every promotion. We pull what's there and ask you to fill any gaps once for active students. Future promotions land in QuickKicks with full history from day one.
Stripe connection moves cleanly, but cards don't
Your Stripe connection just reconnects to QuickKicks. Card details themselves never transfer between platforms for security reasons, so families re-add their card via a one-click link. We run it as one campaign and watch your first cycle.
Attendance history varies
Kicksite's attendance export is solid for the last year or two. Older attendance history may be summarized rather than line-by-line. We confirm what's available during prep.
Family discounts re-build
Sibling and family discount rules differ between platforms. We document yours from your Kicksite settings and re-create them in QuickKicks before go-live so the math on the next invoice matches.
How the switch works
Three steps, and we do the heavy part
- 1
Send us an export
From your current CRM. We handle the column mapping, whatever the headers are called. You don't reformat anything.
- 2
We import and you review
Members, guardians, memberships, ranks, and payment history land in your QuickKicks account. You check it against your roster before anything goes live.
- 3
Go live with us on call
You pick the go-live date and keep your old system running until then. We're on call through your first full billing cycle so nothing slips.
FAQ
Switching from Kicksite, answered
Yes, and we recommend it. Keep Kicksite billing through your go-live date. We import to QuickKicks in parallel and you verify the data before anything switches over.
